The design and installation of the nozzle system is crucial to the success of any cleaning system. If the nozzle system is wrongly designed and/or located cleaning results may be very poor regardless of how good the cleaning solution is or how many washes are carried out. Even more important is the possibility of physical damage to compressors from the incorrect injection of cleaning solutions and rinse water.

In this regard please note the following:

  • RTS is unique among all cleaning system suppliers in that it designs and manufactures its own nozzle systems unlike others who use-off-the-shelf nozzles that are often totally unsuitable or even dangerous for the application.
  • There has never been a known physical failure of any RTS nozzle system and there has never been a single case of damage being caused to any gas turbine or process compressor through the use of our nozzle system in the 25 years that our systems have been in use.
  • Every new nozzle system we design is fully tested in the actual gas turbine or process compressor that it has been designed for before it is offered for general sale.
  • We know the exact performance of every nozzle that we manufacture in terms of droplet sizes and flows at any specific pressure from 7 to 70 BARG.

All of our nozzles systems are manufactured and tested in-house to a rigorous safety and quality assurance programme.
